This year’s camp will offer a unique opportunity for students to explore monologues from August Wilson’s plays. Through this exploration, students will examine Wilson’s work and use these monologues as a lens to analyze and interpret the author’s intended meaning. In addition to gaining a deeper understanding of Wilson’s plays, students will also have the chance to develop and enhance their skills in literary analysis.

By the end of the camp, students will not only have a greater appreciation for the works of August Wilson, but will also be empowered to approach literature with a critical eye and a deeper understanding of storytelling.
